Vikal's
objectives are to create superyachts and superyacht tenders that reflect the
individual and precise requirements of the client. Vikal has proven qualifications
in the field of advanced composite fibre construction, and master craftsmanship
in finish and fitout.
Incorporated
in 1982, Vikal has built a large variety of sports fishing and pleasure boats,
motor yachts, and highly specialized marine limousines as Superyacht tenders.
In the last five
years, Vikal has built a 24 metre luxury catamaran motor yacht for charters
on the Australian West Coast, and under contract, the whole structure of three
large superyachts from 38 to 50 metres.
Vikal has also supplied
superstructures and major componentry to other West Australian shipbuilders.
In 1995 Vikal
delivered two innovative tenders for the 75 metre motor yacht 'Coral Island'
and in 1998, two highly sophisticated tenders
for the 70 metre motor yacht 'Boadicea'.
In August 1999,
two 9.4 metre tenders, the biggest yet, were delivered to Lürssen in Europe,
for a very large new construction.
